The 2023 Indoor League season is going right down to the last week.

With week 13 in the books, the top three of the Typhoons, Blue Sox and Scorchers all can win the title and all three meet in the final week in a more or less winner takes all evening.

How did we get here? Going into week 13, the Blue Sox topped the table following their two wins in week 12. One of those wins against the Blue Jays, knocked out current champions out the title race. It also put pressure on the Typhoons going into week 13. With the Scorchers not schedule to play until week 14, the Typhoons could join the Blue Sox at the top of the table and move the pressure onto the Scorchers.

The first game of week 13 was the clash of Blue Jays and Typhoons. Being eliminated last week, the Blue Jays had the chance to return the favour on the Typhoons. A positive result would leave their sister team the remain challengers to the Scorchers.

The Typhoons dominated this particular game, taking advantage of every possible walk and run on offer as they powered to a 40-23 win. One down, one to go. With the toughest fixture on paper in the bag, next up were the bottom team, the Titans.

The Typhoons continued to show why they are right in the title hunt, week after week when asked to play catch-up they have and they dispatched the Titans with equal efficiency, 39-22.

Two games, two wins and now it was over to the Scorchers to play catch-up.
